how do i create this effect in photoshop cs2? i'd also like to put some shading to make it look a bit more realistic.

looks to me like someone did that in paint... i can take that image and make a vector out of it in illustrator.. then you can open that in photoshop and it will be a smart image so you can resize without losing quality and you can add shadeing

i did draw it in MS paint. figured it would be easier to draw it rather than explain it. i appreciate the offer to make the image, but i would really love to learn how to make it in PS.

you would probably have to make it with the pen tool, but i dunno

i had to use the Pen Tool, Rectangual Marquee Tool, and Gradient Tool.
