I've been on the edge of buying a 360 for a few weeks now. I have a visceral need to play bioshock and am not willing to pay the upgrade costs required for my PC to bring it up to spec. Halo3 and gears of war are also a draw.

I'm just waiting on the mid-tier 360 with HDMI output to be available.

Yup, but there's a gap between being 'available' on inventory pages and anywhere you actually go actually having any stock. Probably better now though, I went to buy one 2 weeks ago when it was just released (wasn't available until early Sept). In the mean time, I picked up Metroid Prime III so that's keeping me busy.

It's out there and at a price drop plus it comes with a 120gig drive.

I will be in line getting my copy of Halo3 Tues and playing all night Tues and all day Weds or Thurs since i will have the house to myself.

If you are looking for people to play with we play Tues, Thrus, Sun.

my brothers bought a 360 and are getting Halo 3 tomorrow night.

I haven't played at all this past year at all. But I will certainly be buying myself a new controller and kicking some @$$ on Halo 3! (Well, my lil bro Angel, he's 16, we let him do most of the work cuz he's a Halo wiz, we just play alongside him then talk trash when "we" win! )

Ummm, I will have to check what "our" gamertag is when I get home tonight.

my real 'problem' is the 3500+ pictures I've shot in the last couple of weeks and sending out the files to the various people involved, making a movie of all the shots, not being home for 3 weekends in a row and oh, metroid prime III taking up all my actual spare time :)

I'll get the 360 in a month or two.
