supposed to block spam?
I keep getting spam that is supposedly a billing error from ROAD RUNNER!! Luckily the first time it came in the dates didn't add up to my billing due date, so I deleted it the 2nd time I didn't check that account for a couple fo days and there were 2 in a row. And I just got another one
You would think that if there were good scammers that they would at least "think" about it a little.
Uggggh I hate spam!!!

when I had RR, all I got was spam, but it also depends on where you have left your email address as well...

ditch the ISP provided email and go with gmail.... way less spam.

you should have several email address's, 1 for your daily life and one or 2 for when you order things on line or sign up for web sites you wont ever visit but one time.

your email address is valuable to spammers or the people with the list who sell your address. so keep it well guarded and NEVER display it on ANY web site anywhere.

if you quit mass sending/receiving jokes and "feel good" stories that make you cry or inspire you , your spam will eventually decrease. These are "social" emails that work their way to the spammers with TONS of valid email address's, then next thing you know your getting stock tips and ways to increase your bust size. Tell grandma and your cusin betsy to stop sending you that stuff and you will not get so much spam.

roadrunner wasn't too good at filtering, once we were switched to comcast the filtering improved significantly.

I actually use gmail as "my" account.
But I have a rr for the business account and I get more spam than anything, usually about 5 a week which is nothing I know but dang it gets annoying lol.
Now if I could get my mom to stop sending those chain emails I would be ok, I don't even open them lol. If her title doesn't refrence me I move on lol.
