No! Not that! Get your mind out of the gutter!

Over the weekend, I walked up to a total stranger, handed them my card, told them I was a photographer, and that I was in the process of building my portfolio and would love to take some pictures of her and her daughters . . . a few prints in exchange for time and model releases. She seemed receptive, so we'll have to see if she calls me in the near future.

But I was SOOO nervous! And in some ways still am . .. it's so hard putting yourself out there at first, tho I feel certain many of you more experienced and professional photographers don't have a problem with it.

Anyway, just wanted to share cause it was such a huge step for me :)

Very good! I basically did the same thing a few days ago, and it worked out well. The couple was very grateful for the images.
