who knew she was this hot? If I'm not mistaken, I believe one of our own forum memebers was also upset that the scalppers were charging a lot.

Yep Sonny, that was me. It's just disappointing that parents cannot get tickets for there daughters and scalpers have up to 300 and more tickets each. I was trying to get them for Grace and Anna's birthdays. Oh well, now we get to have a Hannah Montana themed party.

Sorry to hear that. It was good to hear that Hannah's people maxxed out the ticket prices at $65 bucks, but those damn scalppers ruin it for all.

I was at my amigo's place yesterday and his 4 1/2 year old son was bouncing around the living room (normal) and then the HM show started. He yelled out "Hannah Montana" and was excited she was on. I thought if was an old show of Hillary Duff's at first. Pretty cloney.

Then there was this spot of some young "brothers" group (maybe Jones Brothers or something) that sang "Youth in America" (or something close) that was a direct ripoff of the old classic "Kids in America", but not done as well. And there was a large mass of lemmings, I mean pre-teens, enthralled by their performance. They have no clue to the song's origin.

As parents of twin 3 year old that love Hannah I too underestimated her drawing power.

Hillary who? Kids in America what. They pale by comparison to Hannah and the Jonas Brothers.

They had an issue with online tickets in OKC. People bought tickets through the Hana Montana web site and bought tickets for OKC. When they got the tickets in the mail, they were for the Memphis show. By the time they knew that, the concert was sold out.

Wink Hannah Montanah "non-Prefessional" cameras allowed - 11-08-2007, 09:39 AM

FYI- for all of yu who succumbmed (to the fan club presale- not scalpers)

HP is sponsoring the HM tour. And no, it really hasn't been publicized.

They are definitely allowing P & S cameras at all shows, so tell your family to bring 'em with! I'm not sure if Disney always allows this, or they are just doing so because of the HP sponsorship. Be sure to tell your family to bring the earplugs - it's really loud -

It is not the music so much as the high-pitched screaming of the fans....

Maybe like Duran Duran in the summit in 1983 (now i've outed my age)

We got REALLY lucky.

I was online the day they went on sale here in Katy with my sister in Pearland trying to get tickets for my neice.

After about 45 minutes I was able to make it al the way through the ticket purchase process and when I went to click the last "submit" button, their server hung and timed out. I lost the 15 row tickets I had...I was LIVID. I called the Toyota center and sent an email and got a call from them the next day. They gave me a bunch of "yada yada" about how they did not expect the response they got and how sorry they were. They told me "sometimes" more tickets are released once they know the stage layout and if there were, the people that contacted the Toyota center with issues would be able to purchase them before the public. Well, they called last week, the day before the additional tickets were released...we got 3 tickets! My niece was so excited and I was so happy it all worked out.

The thing that got me was while I was sitting there waiting for the tickets to go on sale I found several sets for sale on eBay and Craigslist for at least $200/each. When I called and complained they said the only way those tickets were available was through the fan club...supposedly fan club members were able to buy tickets before the public. So some scammer joined the fan club to get tickets to scalp! Scum....

I'm glad it worked out for us...but the whole situation sucks!

After seeing the hoopla at the rodeo last year, we decided to get ours through the fan club presale (of which the limit was 4 tix) and not take any chances- one of my girls used her b-day money to by the CD, and it came with a free one m,onth membership to her fan club, so we sighned her up and waited for the presale- it expired before they announced the date for presale seats, so we jopined for a year ($27) and crossed our fingers. We got an email the day before they went on sale, and i used the link they provided 5 mins before the start of the sale. Got in on first try and got 4 lower prom seats. Bottom line, We paid $27 to join the club and aviod the scalpers.
