Wow. This month is my anniversary month with TPF. I can't believe it's been a year already...get ready for the sap :)

It's hard to believe how much I've grown over the last year. How awesome it's been to really grow and learn so much from such great people. I was talking with a few of you at the Monday night GTG, saying how much I love this place, for it's friendly people, your honesty, and willingness to share. Yes, Abel, :) I really do love this place, I'm not just saying it :)

I've met such wonderful people, gained a fantastic mentor (superstar!), made friends and feel like I've grown more in the last 4 months than in 2 years. Thank you guys :) I love you!

ugh, I wasn't sure if I was going to do it, but I decided to dig up my first picture post. so here it is. bleh.

You've come a long way baby! Like them all, but really love the top two. The colors and composition rock! Something about the innocence of kids expressions is compelling to me and you captured wonderful expressions on both of your subjects. Hmmm, where will you be next year? Keep 'em coming sister.

Thanks John :) No :( no Finding Colors :( Not yet. but I think I've been convinced and will be purchasing them soon :)

I make adjustments in raw and then top it off with a curves adjustment in PS. :) Sometimes have to take some of the red out, also.

Great work as usual, Christie. Always love the poppin' colors in your images. TPF does rock! And I'm certain many members have benefited from your contributions the same way you have since you first joined...Wow, has it been a year already?
