Operation: El Fix-O de Couch-O - 10-05-2007, 06:00 PM

About 5 months back, we replaced our "Tainted" couch, with a cheapo Ikea product. Well, the support bar gave out yesterday. Apparently it's made up of 2 pieces of cheapo Ikea wood instead of one. After inspecting the damage, we found a solution. Duct Tape.

When the couch broke, it trapped our rubber chicken. We struggled to free him. After all, it was part of our family.

The damage. Clean break. Well, it looks more like it separated than a break.

My roommate Mike prepping the couch by re-aligning the crack.

Duct tape to the rescue!!!

Overview.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Yes, expensive it is. Since it looked matte black, thought you had gaff tape. It's great stuff, though, when you need to remove it. Course, maybe you were planning on adding more racing stripes to the couch? :) I saw a duct tape billfold the other day for sale at a hardware store. $3.00.

Now your couch looks like your lens hood
