I've searched everywhere and can find absolutely nothing so I figured before my doctor charges me a $20 copay for an answer i'd toss it out to the intelligent class also known as photographers

I have a buddy who's been dating this girl for just over a month...the scary thing we've noticed is that she has ABSOLUTELY no body hair. ABSOLUTELY none. We haven't actually seen her head because she wears a wig...but we're left to speculate that there's probably no hair there too. I mean just NO hair ANYWHERE: ear lobes, eye lashes, eyebrows, legs, arms, not a single trace of hair.

Anyone seen or heard of this before???

yes...my husbands friend got this in college. It was stress related and his hair started falling out. It can also be related to allergies. It is alopecia areata. You can find lots of stuff on the internet about it.

This condition does not actually involve hair loss, but no hair ever.

Maybe if they get serious enough then it'll come out, but for now it's just pretty wierd.

I'm just curious why it's "we" and "us" instead of "he" unless you're both dating the same woman...

What does it matter? Her hair or lack of it, shouldn't be an issue to your friend. And if it's an issue to you, then you are no friend to him. Try growing up.

Who said it was an issue? It could be curiosity. I'd be curious myself if I was the friend or boyfriend, though if I was the boyfriend I would feel totally comfortable asking her directly about it.

...just like your lack of a brain shouldn't be an issue to the rest of TPF. Try taking your lame ass comments and keeping them to yourself. Nobody said it was an issue. I asked if anyone knew of any conditions that would cause this. My next thread will dive into what possible conditions cause people to come from left field & jump into a convo with an attitude as if we're talkin bout them.

hey - my husband has that one - it's a disease called foot-in-mouth! in fact, his whole side of the family has it - so it's HAS to be genetic!
