My neighbor's pooch. I'm looking in on her until my neighbor finds a pet sitter. Both times that I've asked her, it sounds like she's saying "corky", but that can't be right.

1:24 to 1:25, You're right! In another lifetime I was a dog person. I think The Queen has some of these around all the time.

It's a Corgi, but you can't tell from the picture whether its a Pembroke or a Cardigan. Nice dogs -- big dog attitude in a small dog body. If you get a chance to see a video of them herding cattle, you should watch it. It's amazing to see.

Corgi's are great dogs. I have a cross between a Corgi and Australian Red Heeler. He has more energy than any 10 dogs I know and is damn smart. Loyal as well. Corgi makes a great pet.

Thanks, Roy. I'm going to suggest to her (my neighbor :-) that we make a few shots over the coming months until the dog is grown, then put them together in some sort of collage. Should be fun.

HEHEHEHEEEE. . . funny story. I had a Corgi mix. His cute little stumpy legs gave him his name "Stumpy." At which my guy best friend tells me. . . "STUMPY? You named this little guy STUMPY? THAT IS A HORRIBLE NAME FOR A MALE DOG!!!" OOPS!

Pembroke. Cardigans have tails.

I don't particularly like the name "Stumpy" either. Why call attention to their being dwarfs?

How old is this puppy? It looks like its about 3.5-4 months, but sometimes its hard for me to tell with with smaller breeds.
