with Time Warner cable?
I am on hold STILL for them to fix something that was "fixed" on Wed supposedly.
Tech support has you go through the same bull crap that NEVER works. Then they say someone needs to come out. Well that is good but they were just here on Wed, and said all was fixed.
Now the idiot that picked up for CS I would assume, answers, I tell her I was just on hold and that I needed to set up an appt for someone to come out and fix the modem AGAIN. Her response was "what can I do for you?" I said Schedule me an appointment I would assume!" She puts me on hold where I have been ever since. I swear the choice is the lesser of 2 evils, them or ATT and I hate both of them

you can always ask to be escalated to a manager because of your hold times and lack of response.

Also ask for a credit for what ever the outage time was. they should deduct it fro your next bill

Oh I did that in person on Wed and they wouldn't send her out. Now I am finally talking to someone. He came on at 550 and I still don't have an appt. I may get real bitchy here in a minute. I have already been told that I will be getting a credit but that doesn't help that my customers aren't receiving my emails. KWIM?

Oct 24th for an appt. I don't think so. Demanded a supervisor can't get one. AND NOW I have been disconnected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told the guy they can get me an appoint sooner or they can come get their crap!

is your internet connection down? or is it just email?

One of the problems I had was the "node" equipment that served several blocks in my neighbor hood was bad. When a customer would complain their internet went down they would adjust the output signal to make that customer happy. IN a day or so when my internet would go down I would complain and they would adjust the node to make my service work. This was a big back and forth battle for months.

Finally a real Time Warner Tech (not a contractor) replaced the node card and fixed the problem.

I would still have TV service, just not internet or phone. No problems since they fixed it sometime last year.

well the internet does its on thing but right now I can surf the net but not send any emails.
My phone is intermittent
Supposedly fixed it on Wed but obviously not.
They haven't called me back from the disconnect either so now they can come out tomorrow or they can have their equipment back. This is BS~!
I am now on hold to cancel my service. Amazing that you can't even disconnect with out being put on hold.

This is complete bullcrap
I am still on hold, and still no sup.
I have told the guy I will NOT hang up, no matter how long they screw around to get to the phone. I will be looking for new service.

if you want to go with AT&T be ready to wait as well. If the AT&T tv service (U-Verse) is available to you, it can take up to 8 hours to install, depending on the condition of your existing cables/wiring. And it may be a week or 2 before they can do it.

I have to laugh...the people in our area are telling us how great the service is with AT &T and how everyone should switch???!!!!

that is who we had and I HATED them too. but I didn't choose them when we moved here it was SBC then att bought them I assume.
Guess I will be calling Grande to see if they are in my area yet.

I have never liked att. They rip you off, TWC just has ****ty customer service.
I finally got a supervisor, HE could NOT book me an appointment. Then why the hell are you talking to me? Seriously!?!?!? I really want to hit somebody.

well here is it 930 and I still don't have an appointment.
I finally got off the phone with them at apx 830 and the last lady was supposed to return my call as no sup was available, they never are btw. She called to say that my modem is working DUH I am online. but she supposedly hasn't gotten an answer from a sup yet.

I have Time Warner here in CenTex and and am very pleased. I have a friend in Galveston with problems like yours. Growing pains?
