Printing my Pano - 10-22-2007, 10:01 PM

Here is a pano that I want to print but I wanted to get some opinions first.

1. Do you think there is too much blue on the mountains? The shot is lightly edited but I did not add any blue, just what was there.
2. Do you think I should print on a Metallic paper or some other type? Look at http://www.myphotopipe.com/prices.html

I am going to print this at 24" X 72"

maybe just a tad too much blue, but not a whole lot.

I think it would look great on metallic paper, the yellows, greens and blues will really look great on metallic paper

From what I am seeing -- the photo looks completely unreal -- not because of any color or anything like that, but because I am from the panhandle, and the three things featured in that picture are three things we don't have much of: Water, Trees, and Mountains.

It is a gorgeous shot, and I personally don't think there is too much blue at all. I don't think that it would pop if you pulled any of the blue.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

Ok, compare 1 or 2 - 10-23-2007, 11:35 AM

I wanted to get more contrast in the mountains so I did another edit. Let me know if you like 1 or 2? I cannot decide and want a general opinion. I am going to be printing 2 of these which will cost me around $200 so I want to get it right.

Thanks for any opinions and suggestions.

Really like the second edit. The additional contrast really makes the mountains pop. Nice shot of Oxbow Bend, btw.

Gorgeous shot!

And I like the 2nd edit much better... The added contrast just really makes the mountains pop off the page!
