Had a shoot yesterday, got home took the card out of the camera put it in the card reader and nothing. No Images, just a blank card. I though I was loosing it. So even though I knew I did not shoot with the second camera I took that card out put it in the reader and nothing.

So now I am freaking out. OK what are my options, give money back (youth soccer team - paid in advance), or offer a reshoot.

The worst part is just calling and saying I screwed up and have no images, sorry for wasting your teams time today.

OK, third option, search the web for data recovery software (hopefully free). I wasn't very hopeful but I got lucky and found this site on another forum. It only runs on a pc but I have a couple of old clunkers (PCs) that my kids play on. it's free and it actually worked.

Recovered all images, although in a .tif RAW format. Wheew.
