I think there was one here on the forum, but i cant remember...

Anyways... I understand VZ may have try to perform some sort of upgrade last night. Now, I cannot watch TV via HDMI for more than 3-5 seconds before the screen turns green.

I can't get a chat connection.... sitting here on hold for at least 25 mins.... and the email responses are as canned as they come.

As i began to type this, i googled the problem and guess what... this has been an issue for months. I guess the fortunate thing for me is some posts appear to indicate VZ has recognized the issue is theirs and not the TV's.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me, and provide me any thing I can try to resolve this myself??? I have rebooted STB and router several times.

SOrry for the rant, just a lil frustrated...

Thanks!

I've been having fits with my FIOS last night and tonight.

For the longest time, I couldn't even get DNS to find the Verizon help desk site, but if I went to their speed test site, I was at the full 15Mbs down/2Mbs up rate. I think they had internal server and routing issues.

It seems to be fine for me at this moment at least....

Yes they did an update Monday or tuesday night. I cant remember which one. It was an update to the TV Service for the Interavtive Program Guide. From what I understand it REALLY messed stuff up! My husband told me about it. I dont work for Verizon anymore. I cahnged jobs. I will try to find out the fix for ya and post it here later tonight. If you need their number it is 888-553-1555.
