Into the Wild - A must READ - 10-31-2007, 07:51 PM

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is one of the best books I've read in a long time.
I couldn't put it down. A great but tragic story about a young man trying to find
truth. Just thought I'd share and the soundtrack by Eddie Vedder is good as well.
Looking forward to watching the film.

It was a great read. I hope the movie is true to the book. This young man had lots going for him, too bad it ended the way it did.

I also like the book very much and can't wait to see the movie. Into Thin Air is another excellant book by Jon Krakauer. I had a wierd apathy for McCandles and though he was a maroon, "Alex Supertramp" give me a break but was drawn into his sad story.

I read the book several years ago and saw the movie last night. The movie was as good as the book.
