I'll be participating in a white elephant gift exchange in about a month and I'm looking for some cool, unusual, and/or unique gift ideas. $20-30 total cost. This is for a group with average age around 32, still somewhat childish, laid-back and hard to offend.
Any ideas? What kind of stuff have you gotten in the past? | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

This sounds really strange but something that went over REALLY well with one I attended YEARS ago was a case of toilet paper cause everybody uses it lol. It got passed around probably 15 times or more. And pretty comical too.

We had a giant peppermint stick. Like, baseball bat sized. It was one of those great regiftable white elephant gifts.
I usually shop at garage sales for this kind of thing.

I think ours was from the dollar store, actually. I don't know who bought it originally, but it was passed around our group of friends and family for years.
Possibly a little more offensive, depending on your group, but we also had a Braille copy of Playboy that went around for years. No pictures. Just Braille. Because you know people read it for the articles. I picked this one up at a Baptist church college Bible study white elephant party -- no joke.

Oh, Sea Monkeys. I think you can still get them at Toys R Us. Chia Pets are good, too.

I bought my brothers Mister Potato Heads for their birthdays this year. One was a Transformer. One was "Darth Tater". Both from Target.

A self portrait is good. You find out who your real friends are.
