My first thought is that you HEAR (not here).

Second thought is : What is your plan for your life ? Don't know ? Start thinking about it before you make your decisions.

Ever heard the term "Starving Artists"?
I'm just saying that many of the photographers in here can't live on photography alone.

Like Tom said, find out what your plan for life is. Don't just think in the here and now.

A degree in Business Administration will go a long way, and will definitely help you if you wanted to become a self-employed photographer. But if you only had a degree in photography alone, and yet don't know how to manage your business, it won't last long. Unless you're super talented and are discovered by some agents, etc.

get some business accumen and you can learn the photography as you go along. Take as many courses on marketing and advertising as possible.
Learn about contracts. Learn about investments. Photography skills are not as important in making a living at this as marketing and management skills are.

And even then, you need to know how to manage your own business. I am totally with Louis on this. I degree in business will help you far more than a degree in photography will in this industry.
