Wonderful concept, and should be interesting to see where this takes us in the future. For me though, I think that the best and most interesting photographs (and what makes photography an art) is not only the elements that are included in a photograph, but most importantly the ones that are excluded.

on a side note though:
I wonder how photosynth will deal with shallow depth of field images?
