Workshops - 11-06-2007, 07:41 PM

Some of these workshops really look great and I would love to attend but sometimes it is a bit hard to make it. Especially when they are over 100 miles from me and gas prices are going up. And I know there are others that are in the same boat.

Would be great if some of these educational workshops were videoed and put on DVD. I've bought a few DVDs off from EBay and B&H but I would much rather buy some made by people on TPF. That way folks that arn't able to make it to the workshops can still learn something from trustworthy folks.

Just a thought.

I agree with you on the TPF folks! But another good outlet for workshops online are on www.betterphoto.com - I never thought I could learn about photography over a PC, but these people have it down. They are a little pricey, but they now offer a payment plan. They also have some great instructors that are know worldwide like one of my favorite photographers, Jim Zuckerman. Some of the Photoshop workshops look real good also. Check it out. Good luck.

It would also be great if some of the workshops come to Austin or San Antonio. We do not get any loving like Houston or Dallas....
