Creative Arts Conference? Thoughts? - 11-07-2007, 11:29 AM

What would guys think if there was a conference set up in Houston or The Woodlands, TX for next spring or summer that dealt with photography, design, videography, etc?

If you could bring in guest speakers, who would they be?
What topics would you want addressed?

Would you go if there was a big after party?
What music would you like to see there?

If you know of conferences that you've been to that have helped you or that you thought were amazing, please let us know so we will have something to reference to!

Thanks!
Zach

Zach

Excellent idea. Even for us serious amateurs/semi-pro's, having a better understanding of graphics design would be great. A number of the NAPP instructors have addressed these topics, so that might be someplace to start.

hey man, thanks for the input..
do you have any names of any other designers, developers, photographers, or videographers that you'd like to see involved in the conference?
i think the goal is to get as many names to work with as possible.

I think its a good idea. You might want to consider meshing with or avoiding fotofest 08
