Looking to borrow/rent a Speed Graphic and flash - 11-13-2007, 08:21 AM

A client is having a function where they want someone to have an "old style"
camera and flash. It doesn't need to actually take a photo, but if the flash fired that would be excellent.
I'm in the DFW area, and any offers will be considered.
If I can't find it on TPF, where else would I look ?

Where do you plan to find the Flash Bulbs?

The old Speed Graphics, I used in High School and College use flash bulbs about the size of a small light bulb.

First things first I guess. Find the camera, find the flash, figure out how to make it fire.....

Check with Don's Used Photo equipment in Dallas. They have piles of old junk in there. Maybe something like that--I dunno. That's where I'd start, though.
