I just checked where my calibrator is and wouldn't you know it is still sitting in SA, where it has been since early morning on the 9th.
And it isn't scheduled to be delivered until tomorrow. That is just crazy. When I checked on it on Friday it was already in SA, so I figured I would get it today, since I am assuming they were off yesterday?

More than occasionally they don't update the info as fast as the package is actually traveling. I was waiting on one to still be picked up from the merchant when the guy walked in the front door with it :p

I called and refused a package and scheduled for it to be picked up on Wednesday. On Friday I called and asked why my package hadn't been picked up yet. The guy talked to the driver then called me back to let me know the driver forgot to pick it up.

Let me get this straight... your job is to pick up and drop off packages... how do you forget???

By not doing your job. At least they remembered to come to work that day.

We can't say this about all workers. There may be people who work for UPS here on the forums.

Further, I hear UPS pays good money if you're with the company for 20+ years. I'm talking about like $30 an hour if you drive the semi's around. Thing is, they do NOT hire semi-truck positions for people off the street. The only way you advance is by starting as a package sorter and moving up after years and years to better / higher paying positions.

My point is, the "truck" driver certainly doesn't get paid as much as a "semi truck" driver for them. I'm also not sure how far away it is from the $10 an hour package sorter on the seniority totem poll. However, I'm sure those guys did have to work their way up quite a bit.

Well my camera is equipped with a 1000 megasquirtle light sensitive array with a megakilo double widget interface and a pseudo-terrafilter. its got 2 million hexafurtles with a 10 kiloplex and a rechargeable virtual combo-backplate. i also fitted an optical fillyfangle with predictive threshold histogram monitoring. it also has a light sensitive light meter and a time sensitive shutter mechanism.
