Need MUA for girls bday party - 11-15-2007, 12:18 PM

Ok... when it comes to parties for boys it's dirt easy. Girls however have a sky their own color...

I'm looking for a hair & make-up person that would come to a birthday party for a 7 year old girl and make her and 15 of her friends feel glamorous. I'm setting up a makeshift studio complete with lights and backdrop but I really need to find someone who can do the hair and makeup.

Does anyone have a clue where I could find someone like this? It's a paying gig and the date needed could either be Saturday, Dec 1st or Sunday, Dec 2nd for one to two hours in the afternoon. Flower Mound (DFW).

Any ideas? thoughts or suggestions?

We did it the easy way and took my daughter's party to 'Sweet n Sassy' at the Willow Bend mall. You might check with them to see if that have a house call service. http://www.sweetandsassy.com/index.php

Great idea, good thinking! but already called. They don't make house calls (at least from the Highland Village location) and they're booked for that weekend.

Thanks!

We did Libby Lu in Vista Ridge mall. About $22 per kid.

Call some local cheerleaders or dance club...or even a church group...surely there are some high school or middle school girls that love to do hair and make up on girls.. My daughter is only 13 and she loves to do other girls at that age.
