Adobe PageMaker - 11-20-2007, 12:51 PM

My wife is using Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 or 7. She's been using it for a few years now and is wanting something more powerful. This year we've been asked to design a yearbook and she is becoming frustrated at its limitations. Did Adobe discontinue PageMaker? If so, what replaced it?

If she's on Windows, there is MS Publisher.

I feel your pain. I was frustrated with PageMaker but loved it because I knew it so well. Then I went to In Design. WOW. This program is awesome. Still some limitations but if you know PageMaker it will feel natural. There are a few weird things like resizing pictures and moving them around within a frame. But a little bit of searching on differences between PageMaker and indesign and she'll feel right at home again.

If there is anything I can do to help please don’t hesitate. Also there is a video from http://www.newschoolphoto.com that helped me out also.
