Imagning USA in Tampa and TriCoast Photography

I know some of you are planning on going to Imaging this year in Tampa so I wanted to announce when and where we (TriCoast) will be speaking this year.


TriCoast has been choosen and I must admit one of our greatest professional honors as "Photographers to Watch in 2008" and will be speaking on stage

Finally, I have been choosen by the members of Digital Wedding Forum as one of the mentors at their convention going on just before and during Imaging in Tampa as well. Does the "photographers to watch" have anything to do with Tracy's photo shoot of the two of you?

Way to go...unfortunately, I'm flying back that day at 3:00 PM. I'll be there from Tuesday, 1/2 until Tuesday, 1/8, enjoying some R&R - and learning a lot, yeah...of course.

No that photo will be a National Ad for Collages.net which will run in the Jan. issue of the PPA's Professional Photographer Magazine.

I got the rough draft of it today cause I wanted to make sure Tracy got the photo credit which he did!

Thanks everyone I will be in the Tampa area for quite a while so when you get into town we will try and hook up!

I will be busy with lots of meetings but it will be nice for a TPF party in Tampa!

OK...I'm going to bump this up. Several reasons.

First, this is a freaking Kodak award! It is like an Academy Award. A "Rookie of the Year". An MVP. All wrapped into one.

Second, this is a fantastic honor for these two amazing photographers and great contributors to TPF. It's quite an achievement and one that I really hope will help them take their business to new heights.

Third, Mike and Cody are incredible in their support of this community here - and others. I for one will say that if it wasn't for this place and Mike inviting me out to shoot a bridal session with him and Cody a few years back, I wouldn't be doing what I do now on a lot of weekends.

So, come one everyone. Let's give these guys a standing ovation on a HUGE achievement.

Thank you Jesus for the kind words, I must admit TriCoast (Cody and I) are both feeling a little like fish out of water here with this honor. It truly completely came as a surprise and something we did not have a clue it was coming.

While I don't understand how we got here to this position I hope we can create some good out of it while our 15 minutes of fame is running.

Thank you again to evryone wishing us congrats, this forum is a HUGE part of our success, the friends we have made here is one of the biggest reasons why I love photography and want to be the best I can.
