Ask this question on the forums of Model Mayhem and you will start a good cat fight.

Edited to add that I will give both high res and web ready also when I start doing TFCD shoots. Especially if it is a good model that I would want to work with again.

I give high res and web ready. The web ready ones have MY name on them :) For advertzin purposes, of course. I do see some photogs that give EVERY shot to the model. To me, this is not a good idea. Since these have my name on them, I only wind up giving the model the very best 5-10 shots.

Mine get small basic jpg (Nikon speak <3MP) images out of camera as proofs and then 800 pixel long sided web images with my logo for edited shots (two per look). They also get full size edited tif files for final shots. My release allows them to print these images for their own book only.

Hi res and web ready (with my logos on the web ready)... I stopped giving proofs because of a few people who did not understand the "do not post any of these without giving me a chance to retouch them first" ... they get so caught up in the shots of themselves that they don't stop to think that they are representing me as well.. and putting up something that is not as good as it could be.. or hasn't been retouched yet....

First there was TFP
then FTP
then TPF

It's nuts.

I give full rez of the best ones with a lecture about prints. I need to put something in the model release about that I think. Actually nah, there's nothing I could do about it anyway. I usually don't do TFCD, but TFP. Even tho it's more expensive.
