Oops, I should scroll right. You can even tell what day it is! And the temperature!!! And music! Woooo! Oh I crack myself up.

Ok, no more threadjacking. I think I'm still using the default WinXP blue screen, though I haven't seen it in months because there's always something over it.

On windows:
1. Shift-PrintScreen
2. open your favorite imaging software
3. File->New
4. Ctrl-V (paste)

On Mac and Linux: take a picture??

I prefer the cluttered look, and I'm pretty good at it.

Apple Graphite with the 18% gray background for the desktop. What else should you use for graphic work involving color? The first thing that goes is as much color in your environment as possible. You want to see the color in the image and not contaminated from other sources which your eye sees.

I have a program that changes my background every hour or so to different things from a portfolio directory... I have clients that see my desktop all the time, so it makes for good conversation pieces -- and sometimes additional work. :)

This was the shot of the moment...

Brad, how do you get the scene to change so often? Probably a dumb questions, but it's been a long time since I messed with mine and now I have Vista. Thanks.
