A place in Houston to get slides to digital - 11-30-2007, 07:31 PM

I have a buddy whose parents live in Houston, and he wants 1500+ slides scanned and stored digitally. Anyone have any suggestions? Most are old Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides, mostly Kodachrome though.

I've not used it but the Houston Center for Photography has computer rental, $7 hour for non-member. It's on the to-do list as I have a few I want to convert.

Look under the link for digital darkroom

Houston Camera Exch lists their price at $0.49 for 500+ slides.
