Why call the police? No criminal offense has been committed. They made an agreement for future payment. Essentially, he gave the guy credit terms. At best, it is a breach of contract, a civil matter. Chances are, they will not even respond, once he told the dispatcher why he was calling.

Aw man Nick, I'm really sorry to hear this. I know you had some problems with other deals you thought you had before with the 1D. Any way just learn from the experience. I've learned a few things the hard way myself. Good luck with your future dealings and good shooting when you get that 40D, it's a great little camera.

Wow. Are you kidding me? I just got screwed and your going to sit there and tell me I don't have a right to be mad at the person who took advantage of me? I was doing the guy a favor and he turned on me. So, in your opinion, it's okay for people not to fulfill their side of the deal after making an agreement.

The guy told me he sent cash in the mail. If he really did send cash and the mail was lost, it's still his obligation to pay me back. He should have sent me a check.
