So, what would you do if you heard someone yelling 'help! come quick!' and you walk in the room and see your spouse holding a cooling rack full of flaming cookies? I threw a glass of tea and 2 cups of water - smoke detector is going off. Fire's out. And I see my 2 kids butts shimmying on the floor toward the front door. Nothing but festivities at our house! And the what would you do - apparently Mike wanted me to turn off the burner?!?!? (He was trying to save the cookies)
And I know - this is useless without photos. I needed a movie camera for this one. lol!

I just came back from a nightmare christmas light watching trip with my children. This made me laugh out loud. Thank you so much! I would have thrown the tea too!

I thought this was gonna be the Charles Addams cartoon where the kids are stoking a roaring fireplace in the background, and Gomez says to Morticia: "The little dears. They still believe in Santa Clause."

At least we know where our priorities are: - Holly wants to save Mike.
- Mike wants to save cookies.
If you are ever at one of our workshops with hot lights - choose your seating wisely b/c if everything goes up in flames & it comes down to it - ya know Mike's gonna choose to save the cookies!

And they were regular Nestle Toll House chocolate chip. We have a secret family recipe for chocolate chip cookies - if those caught fire, ya, I woulda ate them anyway. THOSE ARE SO GOOD! These ones - not so good with tea.
