...this disk Office 2000 SR-1 or Outlook 20000 SR-1. I have no clue why, but all of a sudden I get this pop up window that says I need to reinstall it. It's driving me crazy and I haven't a clue where my disk is. Any help would be appreciated!

I can check when I get home. I should have a bunch of that stuff around. You have to be careful and match the exact installation source CD that you started with. It will be either Office Standard, Office Professional, or could be some other OEM variant. I know it's a pain, but you can thank uncle Bill...

Yes they are downloadable, but if you install from say a Office 2000 Professional SR-1 CD, you can not use a Office 2000 Professional CD from pre SR-1 or a SR-2 CD. I use a admin install of Office with all of the patches applied to it here at the office and if it asks for the CD for some reason you have to point it to the network location of the admin install vs using the SR-1 CD that I created the admin install with. Same thing with a few of our older machines that were installed using a pre SR-1 CD of Office 2000, if they need the CD for anything I have to pull out the old CD, none of the newer ones will work even though they are all Office 2000 Professional.

and
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium Disk 1 only.

Sheeesh! I don't even know why this started. It's almost like something was removed from my computer. I'm going along fine for a few years and all of a sudden this window starts popping up at the oddest times. Now I discover that I can't even use Outlook (hadn't opened it in months). Here's the window...
