This leaves the obvious question, what do you do with the best defensive shortstop in the league...Adam Everett?

2nd base? Doesn't put much of a stick in that position though. I guess if Tejada produces at shortstop it may balance out.

Astros said Everett is gone.

Having a crap hitting SS like everett will keep you from scoring more runs than his great defense will save you from giving up. A huge upgrade. Scott would have only had spot duty. We lose our stud pitching prospect for an older SS.

A trade two years too late (when we could have had Miggy for Lidge and Everett.)

Just heard that the Astros have until midnight to night to trade Everett or he becomes a free agent. Guess who is now in the market for a shortstop...Baltimore.

I forgot about Matsui at second. With him and Bourn leading off followed by Wiggington, Berkman, Tejada, Lee and Pence, that ain't too shabby at all. Now to beef up the pitching....

Does it really matter? Honestly, I could care less and there's nothing going to happen to him if his name is in there.
