It's funny - I was actually just talking to Jah about this style of photography that he's bashing. I see it everywhere now... the sort of blurry, hazy photos made to look like simple snapshots from the 70's. I can understand why so many people like them too. A number of my friends work in that style and everyone agrees that the appeal is a sense of nostalgia. They remind me of the photos my parents took when I was young. A lot of people around my age remembers those boxes of photos with the rounded edges and washed out colors. So whenever I see one of these shots I sort of feel a twinge of happiness in me, like I remember the shot - even if I don't.

That being said... holy crap people are seriously beating this trend into the ground. EVERYONE is doing it and most people aren't even doing such a great job at it. They're all following the current fad to make their images look this way because it's popular. Eh... I suspect it will eventually pass, like all other trends do. :D
