A brand new set of 4 tires on my car. I've been needing to replace the tires on my car for some time now. Finally got around to buying 4 Goodyear Assurance TripleTread tires. That's what I already had on my car and can honestly say that they're about the best tires I've ever had. Their ride comfort is great, they're quiet, they've got great treadlife, and they absolutely rock in the rain.

A new set of Ostrich boots with matching gunbelt, holster for your .45, handcuff case. If I can't have a D3, then it will do.

I just replaced the 4 tires on my car this week too - not really what I had in mind as a Christmas present to myself. I guess I need to adopt your attitude and be happy I've got good, safe tires ready to go for another 40k miles......

... A D300, Nikkor 70-200 F2.8 AF-S VR, Nikkor 300mm AF F2.8
and a way to make a living using them. That's my selfish wish.

... the continued love of family and friends, good health, continued personal growth, and a much needed better understanding of people in general.

and I am kinda the opposite -- any day that when I wake up, and don't have to shave is going to be a good day.

Christmas morning. Because although my wife had my gifts from Amazon and B&H delivered to her parents home, the email confirmations still came to me!

And I work at home, so I shave, but only every other day.

That is awesome news! and I gotta concur -- a great day!

My dad had a polyp removed back in the spring that turned out to be cancerous, so they went in and did a resectioning where the base was, and it turns out that nothing but the polyp was bad, and after turning him inside out with a scope, they didn't find as much as a bump, so all is good now. Scary stuff, but I agree -- it makes the good news really really good!
