Here's one from around 2am... This year I tried generating an HDR photo (30", 15", 10", 2"). The subtle detail that came out in the process is improving the results.

Taken with my new Christmas present, the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8:


BTW, our tree is as dead as a tree can get. We tried everything but it must have had something wrong with it to start. It's so dead the branches are hanging down and the ornaments are slipping off (they're all indestructible). Funny thing though, the kids never noticed, just me.

It is turning out to be a very good day!

Well I know these are supposed to be technically good...but sometimes you just have to be happy with a photo...any one recognize the gift???? The boy is happy as a pig in mud...
