Christmas was awesome this year!!!

Not because of presents or anything...but just because I got to spend quality time with my parents...I finally got some snaps of my parents with their dogs...just like how I remember them...I would love to get a "family portrait" of all of us, but it's not "them"...

I've come to the age where i really appreciate my parents, for who they are...where they come from...what they believe...

I go to them for advice...granted I might ot always take it, and still have to learn things the hard way...but moving away from them was the best thing that I could have done, because it makes me appreciate them so much more...

Love the ones you've got...Tell your family you love them...hug them...

I cherish the moments I get with my parents...I pray to God I won't lose them any time soon...but you never know...

I completely understand. I took advantage this year of taking more pictures of my grandparents. I rarely get to see them or spend time with them.

Glad to hear that Suzy. Yes, kids are born knowing everything but as they get older they forget it. Want proof? Tell a kid anything and they'll likely reply "I know". When prompted why they did it, they'll likely reply "I forgot".

Now, as they get older, they also realyze parents are "un-cool" - but eventually they come around. I hope.
