Reflections of...

This is the time we reflect on the things that happened in the past year. The Good... The Bad... And the Uly.

For me the bad and ugly all took place on the morning of Aug 3rd. It is an event that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Now for the good...

Having CHF and AFib since 2001 I have been having to visit hospitals and doctors. Dec 2006 I nearly died with an infection that got in my blood stream. For 2007, I managed to go a whole year without going to the hospital, emergency room or seeing a doctor. Of course I am going to have to start seeing my doctor on a regular basis this year but it was nice to go a whole year.

I also discovered a more artistic side of photography. I had always been afraid I could not be creative enough to photograph people and especially models. But after sitting down and starting to write out (or type as it is now) I found I had many ideas. Then I went to a workshop with Darryl Briggs and learned a lot there and started thinking about what I learned and realized I could expand on that. Now if I can just find some models to put those ideas to use.

With 2007 coming to a close many here in MN continue to reflect and remember the bridge collapse that will affect us throughout 2008.
