Have you tried Olivello's yet? It's a teeny tiny place by SMU. It's on McFarlin, just west of Hillcrest (across from Culwell & Son). The best pizza I've had - I take NY friends there. Expect a wait if you go at a peak time. Very thin crust. The truffle oil pizza is, ah, perfecto!

hey there! actually, we have eaten olivellas twice now, and we love it, too. we used them for a party, then actually dined in on new year's eve. the customer service there was laughable - as in, so bad all we could do was laugh - but at least they were nice. i think maybe the owner's kids were working and they were a bit....uhm....clueless. we'll give them another shot for sure, but the bad news is they don't deliver.

What is the Golden Triangle area?
Cafe Espresso in Snider Plaza has great pizza from a wood burning oven. They don't deliver but you can call in an order and pick it up.

We ate at grimaldi's last week while in New York City (the one under the brooklyn bridge). The owner was there and said they'd be opening one this spring I believe in the Dallas area - stay tuned if you like brick oven thin NY-style pizza - ours was pretty tastey :slurp:

Al's is good, as John mentioned above. Lemmon will have changed names there to Marsh Lane.

I'd be interested to hear about other good pizza places in Plano as well...anybody?
