WOW, I did not know that they were even there. I got into photography about 7 years ago and went digital about 2 1/2 years ago. I did web searches for stores to buy my equipment and only found the big stores in Austin and San Antonio. I live in the Rio Grande Valley so I have to drive 5 hours north to Austin to go to Precision Camera where if I had know I could have drove only 2 hour to Corpus. Did they have a web site or anything to let us down here in "The Valley" know that their were closer to us and ready to take care of our photography needs, instead of driving to Austin to the big boys??? A little to late to find a camera equipment source.

Sem I had mentioned it to you once before. They had a website but it was more of a storefront saying that they offered studio and equipment.
The store itself was about the size of a Ritz camera in the mall if that very small. I shopped there 3 times total. One was to buy the last minolta lense they had and another was for a filter can't remember what the 3 times was for.
They were very nice and mainly only carried canon stuff. So that didn't help me. I found out about them closing on Monday when I called Havel to get my flash repaired. But by then they were already closed. Had I known I would have ran in and atleast gotten some filters etc...
