Brad offers one about once every 3 or 4 months or so, and I help out with it, not sure when we are doing another, but keep an eye out for it.

I'm always on the lookout for a posing workshop, too. However, I'm keeping my eyes open for one that does not use a professional model. I learned a TON about posing by watching Scott Watters recently work with a friend of mine one evening when we met at his studio to try out new equipment. Listening to the direction that he gave to someone that had never been in front of a camera before was INVALUABLE because that's what the majority of my shooting consists of - shooting regular folks.

I use a semi-pro model for one primary reason: One of the things we show (by example) in the demonstration portion of the class is how bad posing can make them look awful... a "regular person" may not be ok with that.. but models usually are willing to do it.

I will probably do another Basic Studio lighting and Posing workshop in late February or early March. I haven't set a date and am open to suggestions. I usually invite a couple of my recent clients to be the subjects. And we do hands on where you pose the subject and I try to show you a couple of things that will make the pose better. And I use myself as the subject for demonstrating bad posing.

Posing and lighting... two things I need to take a class or 400 on.
