I started out 2007 with the idea that I was done with debt. I worked pretty hard on it and am still working on it though I am just about to the point where it's time to start working on my mortgage. It's kind of an amazing thing that I wish that I had done years and years ago. Around September I came across Dave Ramsey's show on XM radio and kind of fine tuned what I was already doing. Murph, you are correct, Dave Ramsey is brilliant. If more people would adopt his way of thinking it would be amazing... and it would have a profound affect on the economy.
