I'm new to all of this can anyone tell me all the acronyms for lenese, ex: EF, F 4L, F 3.5, etc? I know IS and OS, but that's about it. Thanks!

F/4 or f/3.5 refers to the maximum aperture. The L shows that it is top level Canon glass.
