Online Defensive Driving Course? - 01-23-2008, 08:51 PM

I did a Google search for "Online Defensive Driving". In 0.26 seconds I received a plethora of choices. There are so many to choose from, I cannot tell which ones are reputable websites.

Can you recommend a couple of sites for me?

Thanks in advance,
-Sonny

One word for on-line Drivers Safety courses...B O R I N G...and you have to pay attention for the entire 6 hours! LOL They test you over little details in the videos and presentations to make sure you watch them.

My advice, just do the comedy drivers safety and have it done. You don't even really have to pay attention to most, because they actually tell you the answers on the test!

Anyway, my 2 cents.

I have many distractions at home. So paying attention will be difficult.

<----my daughter my son---->

Maybe I will take the comedy course.

I used http://www.defensivedriving.com/ when I had to do it. It was very easy, and convenient. I could pick it up when I wanted and just worked on it a little at a time over a few days. You do get tested on stuff along the way, but it is pretty straight forward stuff. I won't do the comedy ones any more because for me, they have been even more painful than the "straight" ones.

That's the same one I did online. You can "go and stop" whenever you need to..I left to go make a bed onetime and got caught!!! It's super easy...put the tv next to the computer...your good to go..

I used www.idrivesafely.com. Sounds pretty much like the other above. The only issue I had was having to get a notorized statement that it was actually me who took the class. They don't give you a form, you have to make one up yourself.

Even the best ones are a joke, but hey, I make it a point to screw with the instructor the entire time and it becomes quite fun! LOL

haven't had to take one in about 3 years, (Knock on Wood!) so I am doing good!
