HELP- How To Clean Inkjet Print !
 

My customer had a kid open her wedding ablum with sticky hands and left gunk on her wedding photos. The photos are perminately mounted in the album. How might a
person clean those photographs? Thanks Epson 2200 on Ilford smooth pearl paper.

I have a 2200 but have never used that particular paper. In my experience, since the inks are pigment, I have actually held a couple of prints under running water, wiped the gunk off, laid the print on a flat surface and air dried it with no problems. Of course the standard disclaimer: YMMV

2200 ink is supposed to be a different and more permanent ink than some other ink jet inks I think.
I would try printing another photo with that printer and paper, let the ink dry overnight, cut it in smaller pieces, then experiment on it and see what you can get away with.
