Second Life

I know for those who know what second life is, it brings up mixed feelings and thoughts and opinions. lol

But how many of you play second life or actually tried it?

I tried it awhile back, didn't play long..then came back due to a couple friends showing me some advantages in the Virtual economy.

I tried it once and didn't like it. Didn't really see the point of the game and decided it was wasted hard drive space...

Never played, but been interested. It sure has gotten a lot of press lately.

Well I have been playing for a little while now and I can tell you I have made more money on SL (after selling the virtual money). Doing web designs and graphics and ads etc ... then I have here locally in the real world lol.

Alot of businesses are in SL including universities it is really hard to give SL a name or a category. But if you just like to have fun... well lol its very fun as well.

I actually just recently helped a friend with her blog. She runs a Fashion Blog kinda more of a RSS aggregator or however you spell it. http://www.fashionfeedofsl.com

Pretty cool idea in my opinion, SL is a big virtual world full of businesses and like anything in the real world its sometimes hard to find what you want to buy. So she took the major fashion blogs/businesses and has them all fed to one spot.

Most people do not spend real money on SL, Most people do however Sell their "virtual money" for real money.

Yes it can be very complicating and confusing. The economy on SL is insane. I perosnally have never spent a dime on SL, but I have made a decent amount from it just doing the same stuff I do for a living.
