anyone remember applied science fiction in austin? in the late 90's i got to try out one of their kiosks that u pop an exposed roll of 35mm in and then got a cd and prints in less than 15 minutes. i thought this was the coolest thing since sliced bread, then kodak came along and i guess trashed the concept. anybody know what happened?

I know that name... *google*.... ah yes... they did the ICE (ROC/GEM) part of my Nikon film scanner software.

Looks like Kodak bought them out: http://asf.com/about/
