Military and Veterans Poll - 02-06-2008, 01:35 AM

I have seen a few post in the past with people speaking up as to former Military Service, and it got me thinking that there seems to be quite a few people on the board that are serving or have served in the Armed Forces...

So with that in mind, I just wanted to see a "show of hands" as to the numbers that we might have on board.

Also, please check which branch you were with -- so you can check off multiple options.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

Wouldn't that be "Former member" last I checked?

Retired Air Force.

My younger brother is also retired Air Force.

At one time in my extended family we had 1 in Navy; 1 in Army; 1 in Army National Guard plus the two of us in the Air Force.

I make a conscious effort to support our troops, past and present, in any way possible. Just look for the signs of prior service and give them the recognition they deserve with at least a simple "Thank you, sir, for your contribution to our nation's security". The signs of prior service are there and easy to spot if you look for them. Some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. Many thanks to all who served or are serving and those that support them.

"Never Forget!"

Thats true .. but you are no longer in the service, you are just given some benefits for your years of service.
