Yes, but the backstory is that the device was developed as a safe way to wash your cat without getting shredded.

Don't think so. First of all cats haven't needed bathing for half a million years so even though some idiots think cats can't clean themselves, they are quite capable<g> Second, would you want to handle that cat after it comes out of that thing? I'd rather leave the cat alone to groom itself and live a bit longer;)

Best regards,

unfortunately several animals have been killed in these types of pet washers. Basically they were scared to death, literally

I'm a cat person
I don't think cats are people.
I would not subject any animal to this type of torture.

No way in hell would I subject one of my cats (or anyone else's cats) to that thing.

thank you I thought I was the only one that thought that was a little cruel, that poor cat was about to have a heart atteck... if your cat needs a bath that bad then some one NEED to suck it up and deal with it... I have given cats baths and it REALLY is not that bad.... they have cat bags which aid for bathing cats

That's like the kitty equivalent to waterboarding
The operaters of those machines are supposed to turn it off if an animal reacts like that.

I disagree. Cats carry dander, and it causes allergic reactions in people. My sister in law regularly bathes her cat, and it still kills me with allergies when I go visit, but not as bad after she started washing the cat. Fine, chuck the cat in a lake or pond, and let it swim to shore. Cats get dirty like any other animal, its just they lick most of the sh*t, and it leaves dander. There is no cruelty, its just getting a needed bath.
