Help! I need to get back in the game..

I thought nothing could ever take me out of photography, it's the only thing in my life that I have been truely passionate about. In the past few years I slept and ate photography. Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but I have talked about this in the past about my other business woes. Well that is what took me out of the game for a bit so I have had to focus on rebuilding my old pest control business. Luckily I had a lot to fall back on in starting it with contacts, invoices, letterhead etc so its pretty much back up and running! So now I need to start shooting again and I need a jump start. I have 8 weddings this spring and I feel a bit out of practice. I need to find something to shoot!!! If anyone has any fun off the wall ideas and wants to do some night shooting or get a model and go to a depraved area to do some fun shooting let me know. I know some of you have something cooking in your brain that you want to shoot around DFW. Lets shoot..

Chris, I've seen your website, I don't think you need much jumpstarting to get you back in the swing of things. Since you live in NRH, go shoot the Texas Brahmas. They are always welcoming photogs out there to shoot their hockey games.....
Baseball season right around the corner also........

Thanks mattman! That sounds kinda cool. Never thought of hockey, have to look into that or something simular like boxing, lol..

8 spring weddings is a pretty good testament to your skill. Hang in there, do the pest control thing because it pays the bills. Chin up, your doing better than a lot of people. It's all good bud, you're doing all right. Patience grasshopper!

Thanks Todd! Yes, I am pretty happy about the weddings for very little spent in advertising. Also, thank God my wife is doing most of the PP now and getting pretty good at it. I think her post processing and book building has a lot do do with bookings. And as for the pest control it does pay the bills, just hope there is a termite season this year ? Has not been a good one in the past 5 years. A good termite season is actualy good for everyone , us for the job and when they swarm the customer knows they have them and can stop them from eating to much, lol..
