KUSO file viewer... - 02-11-2008, 03:48 PM

Well while I was viewing this today...looking at someone elses photo, I realized you can see more than one photo?? So where do those "other" photos come from??? Are they things I have looked at before? Things that are on my computer?? I'm very nervous about others seeing these photos???? (and no I dont look at things I shouldn't, at the same time, it's no one elses business what I've been looking at or whats on my computer!!)

I'm not sure I want to?????!!!! you will see all these photos??? JK..when you open a photo and use the viewer, at the very top, it will show you an arrow, then 17 of 84 then another arrow..so if you click on the arrows, you can look at "84" photos. I don't know where these photos come from??

have you ever noticed it???

it sounds like it may be cataloging your images by some type of criteria and showing all of the images it finds to you...alot of image viewers will search your computer for all images when you initially run them and show you everything it finds.

I have been using Kuso since September because I couldn't get Opanda to work with Vista. What you are seeing is the number of pictures in the folder you are viewing. It makes viewing a large group easier because you don't need to close one and open the next.
I just tried it in a folder with 23 pictures of my Goldens, and when I viewed a picture, the number was 22/23. I suppose if you were viewing on some pic hosting site, you would get the same thing, but it should not be an issue or problem. if you don't want to look at any other pictures in the series, just don't. It won't let others see what you were looking at.

so it only shows what "I" have been looking at? Because some of those photos don't look familiar..some do. So when John or Jane looks at theirs, it only shows the photos they have been viewing? Man, I hope that's right!!

It shows the photos in the directory you were viewing, whether you looked at all of them or not. If John and Jane look at the same directory, they will see the same pictures, but they won't know or care that you just looekd at them.

Note: If you are looking at a photo that has been downloaded to a forum, you will also see other items you have looekd at recently. I just looked at a photo on the TPF Home Page, and saw over 100 pictures listed in Kuso. Many are sniippets from web pages, Yahoo's home page, avatars from this and other websites, etc. If you looked at the same photo, you would see a different list, depending on where you had been. These items are in your temp files, so if you were looking for a new pair of shoes online and didn't want hubby to know, clear your temp files. ;)
