Angry I'm done with overnight prints! - 02-12-2008, 02:57 PM

Ok here's my rant....until now i've been pleased with their service and speed but I ordered some cards on 1/26 and received shipping notification on 1/29....well by 2/5 no cards. I contact overnight prints and i'm told UPS lost them but a new batch of cards will be printed on 2/7 and shipped priority by 2/8 and they should be here by 2/13. Ok so it's 2/12 and I have not received any notice of shipping, UPS has not updated their site, however I did receive an email on 2/7 saying they were reprinted. I call overnight prints to check on the status so I know if I should wait for the ugly brown truck tomorrow and I'm just told that the cards have NOT printed, but this guy says he will make sure they print tomorrow and I should receive them by 2/19.....I'm soooooooo done with overnight prints!

Rant over...

seems like the root problem is the Brown Truck.

yes it was initially but then the whole issue of being told cards would print and ship last week and then being told the same thing today when they still have not printed and shipped....that's what ticked me off with them

I used them one time and never would again took almost 3 weeks to get my cards shipped to me on a expedited order.

Growing Pains - 02-12-2008, 06:54 PM

Company motto: Overnight Prints...Takes about Two Weeks.

I used them last year and the cards were flawed - inconsistent color and a mar on the image; literally spent hours just trying to get in touch with them on their "24/7" telephone; called repeatedly. Guess what? Over the next two weeks I received 3 or 4 replacement orders. Crazy. Coulda built a house of cards.

Used them for for a Vday card this year cause client wanted that 6x9. Got them very fast and very good looking. Apparently they've teamed up with printers in various cities so not every order comes out of Santa Clara, CA.

Make sure you read their guidelines...CMYK for your files.

That's weird... I've had nothing but good luck with them. I guess your mileage really will vary.

Same here..sometimes the service was great and sometimes it stunk...my complaint was they are called "overnight prints" so wouldn't that tell you that basically within 24 hours they will have your stuff printed?? Nope...if you don't up the shipping, they print them whenever they are darn good and ready...craziness...
